DAY 3

While our script is processing, we attended a lighting workshop held by Betrand's friend (sorry i can't remember his name). He taught us outdoor lighting. First we're broken up into different groups. Each group will proceed to different area to set up the camera and lightings. When we're ready, betrand and _____ will come over to give comments and suggestions on how we can improve the lighting at that situation. For my group, we did it in a classroom with window at the back. So we set the camera right in front of the window giving ourselves more challenges. At first everything outside the window are over-exposed. So we adjusted the aperture and eventually the room will get darker. This is the time we start choosing which light to put in and adjusting the lights. Our result wasn't that favourable. Everything was still too dark. Then, _____ suggested some lighting methods we can try to improve it. Ultimately, we managed to get a better lighting. After which we headed back to the studio where _____ revealed the other groups' video and explained about the situation and lighting solutions. It's quite useful and thanks _____ for making a trip down to share his experiences with us.
